Allen "Clever Piggy" Cunningham is one of the most successful tournament players of all time, with over $11 million in career tournament earnings. He has 5 World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets, and was named WSOP Player of the Year in 2005.
Allen experienced his first notable win in 1999. He placed 1st in the Legends of Poker Main Event at the Bicycle Casino, winning $22K. At the 2000 WSOP, Allen cashed in five events and made it to the final table in the $5K Limit Omaha Hi/Lo tournament. He finished in 2nd place for a $113K payday. At the 2001 WSOP Allen cashed in four events and made it to three more final tables, including a 1st place finish in the $5K Seven Card Stud event. He won his first WSOP bracelet and over $200K. These victories saw him voted Best All-Around Player under 35 by fellow professional poker players.
Allen won his second WSOP bracelet in 2002, earning $160K for first place in the $5K Deuce to Seven No-Limit tournament. In 2005 he made four WSOP final tables and earned his third bracelet in the $1.5K No-Limit Hold 'em event, banking over $750K. He was also awarded the 2005 ESPN/Toyota Player of the Year award. In 2004, took down the $5K No-Limit Hold 'em World Poker Tour championship at the Bellagio for over $111K.
In 2006, Allen won his fourth WSOP bracelet in the $1K No-Limit Hold 'em tournament for over $625K. He also placed fourth in the WSOP Main Event, winning more than $3.6 million. In 2007, he won his fifth WSOP bracelet in the $5K Pot-Limit Hold ‘em event for almost $490K. In June 2007, Allen was the winner of the Poker After Dark $50K Mega Match, banking more than $300K.
In 2008, Allen won the WSOP-C No-Limit Hold ‘em Championship at Caesars Palace for almost $500K. He was the 2007 $15K No-Limit Hold 'em Main Event winner at the Las Vegas Open for a $ 325K payday. Allen also won the National Poker League Championship event at the Las Vegas Open Championship for almost $500K. He also reached the final table of the $2.5K Pot-Limit Omaha/Hold ‘em event at the 2008 WSOP, taking 4th for over $76K.
Allen paired with Huck Seed to claim victory at the Doubles Poker Championship in November 2010, with both winning $500K apiece.
